Daniel Frick is an Air Force veteran, husband, father, and small business professional running for Colorado House District 53 in northern Fort Collins.
Daniel served in aircraft maintenance as an avionics specialist in the U.S. Air Force. He later deployed to Afghanistan as a contractor, providing mission overwatch to NATO forces and witnessing the realities of combat up close. Those experiences shaped his commitment to strong leadership, personal responsibility, and getting the job done right.
He earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management and an MBA. Daniel was raised in a faith-centered home by his father, a United Methodist minister and Air Force chaplain who served for 27 years. His parents, married nearly 50 years, instilled in him the values of faith, family, and hard work that continue to guide his life.
Daniel and his wife, Patti, are raising their family in northern Fort Collins. Together they have a blended family of eight children, with four still at home. As a paid caregiver for his son through Medicaid, Daniel sees firsthand how government policy and bureaucracy impact working families.
He has a deep appreciation for Colorado’s outdoors and way of life, from time in the mountains to days spent hiking and fishing. With family roots across the state, including near Woodland Park, Daniel is committed to preserving what makes Colorado special for future generations.
Daniel is not a career politician. He’s a veteran, a dad, and a taxpayer who believes northern Fort Collins needs a strong, common-sense voice at the Capitol. He is running to lower the cost of living, defend parental rights, and support policies that help families stay and thrive in their communities—not get priced out.
