I'm Daniel Frick, and I'm running for Colorado House District 53 Representative to bring a strong conservative voice back to northern Fort Collins and Larimer County.
Lowering the Cost of Living in District 53
Fort Collins and northern Larimer County are among the best places to live in Colorado, renowned for their natural beauty, strong sense of community, and high quality of life. But rising housing costs, increasing taxes and fees, and wasteful spending from Denver are making it harder for families to afford to stay here.
Home prices are out of reach for many. Rents continue to climb. Utility bills and everyday costs keep rising. Young families are struggling to get started, working parents and caregivers feel the squeeze, and retirees on fixed incomes are being pushed further behind.
I’m focused on delivering real financial relief:
Cut red tape and unnecessary fees to increase housing supply and improve affordability
Enforce fiscal discipline in Denver and uphold TABOR to stop overspending
Push back on constant increases in local taxes and fees—especially for those on fixed incomes
Reform programs like Medicaid to reduce bureaucracy while protecting support for those who truly need it
We shouldn’t have to struggle to afford life in a place we love. I’m fighting to make District 53 more affordable so families at every stage of life can stay, grow, and thrive here.
